I spent the majority of my early 20s feeling unfulfilled, stressed, burned out, and constantly trying to please other people. I always did what I thought I was “supposed” to do: I went to college, got a business marketing degree, and started corporate ladder climbing with my 9-5 career. On paper, my life looked great, but on the inside...I was MISERABLE!
I had no idea what my purpose was on this earth, but I KNEW I was meant for more
- I would spend my mornings curled up on my bed with my comforter wrapped around me, absolutely dreading the day ahead
- I would often find myself in tears on my way to work - unfulfilled, stressed, and EXTREMELY burnt out
- My diet went to sh*t due to my constant stress eating
- My hair fell out by the handfuls, I was sick all the time & became very depressed
- I would try to escape my unhappiness in all kinds of destructive ways - always searching for something to fill the void & the emptiness that was there from not doing the work that I was put on this earth to do
